Maybe you need to be an ex catholic to enjoy this book or alternatively just someone who believes that religion creates more problems than it solves, that politics is no better and journalists dine out on the discomfort of others. This book manages to weave so may subplots together that the reader will be always wondering what will happen next. Set in 1999 around the Christmas period a secret research facility in the Negev desert is hit by………. Well who knows, it may be the hand of god a meteor or an enemy bombardment.
