Review by Di Peat on show 9th Sept 2010
An autobiographical account by a newly married woman living on an isolated cattle ranch in Australia in the early 1900's. She left the security of Melbourne to live in the isolation of the Northern Territories. One of the very few white women in the area, she was at first resented at the cattle Station but eventually won the respect of the workers. This is an account of her life in an inhospitable but beautiful part of Australia.
this is one of my favourite books on my bookshelf.
