Another really
excellent thriller from the pen of SK.
The story is full
of fast-paced action and features Detective Inspector Tina Boyd and her old
adversary, Paul Wise, the big time crook who Tina has been pursuing for several
years – and several books.
The Police seem to
have given up hope of ever bring him to justice as he fled the country a few
years back, but Tina is determined to track him down as he was responsible for
the death of her fiancé.
Tina takes two
weeks leave and sets off to the Phillippines on her personal manhunt, enlisting
the help of Desmond Milne, an ex-cop turned hit man who is actually in the
payroll of one of Paul Wise’s henchman and has been given the contract to
eliminate Tina, but changes sides when he meets her.
They have a series
of adventures in Manilla before the final dramatic and explosive conclusion.
A good page turner
as there is lots of action in this good thriller.
